| PDD employees criticize State Govt | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, June 1: Demanding fulfillment of their long pending demand the Power Development Department (PDD) Employees criticized state government. Addressing a press, Provincial President of Union, P.C Sharma has blamed the state government for not conceding the genuine demands of the PDD employees including daily-wagers. He alleged that despite given the full assurance by the CM in 2009, the Government has totally failed to consider the plights of daily-wagers, who have been rendering day and night service in the electrical Department. Sharma said that union has been fighting for six basic demands like regularization of daily-wagers with creation of sufficient new posts as per the requirement of the increased infrastructure of PDD, releasing 5000-8000 PR technical grade to all ITI holders in terms of SRO149 of 1973, conducting of DPC, amendment in service recruitment rules of PDD framed in 1981 and retrospective effect to the already regularized daily-wagers in terms of SRO 64 of 1994 since long and this fight will be continued till the demands are not solved. |
