Early Times Report JAMMU, June 1 : A woman, who had gone to pay obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine, today delivered a baby outside the Bhawan in Reasi district. "Raj Bala, 35, wife of Survesh Kumar, resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh was lined at the Gate Number 3 this afternoon outside the Bhawan alongwith her family and waiting for her turn to pay obeisance at the cave shrine," police sources here said. They said that the woman suddenly suffered labour pain following which a team of doctors from the nearby dispensary was rushed to the spot. "By the time doctors had reached the spot, with the help of, other women devotees standing in the queue, helped her to deliver the baby," they said adding that it was a male baby. They were shifted to the health centre and were discharged in the evening."The mother and the child are fit and healthy," doctors said. The woman however, in her statement said that she had two daughters and wanted to have a boy and the Goddess had listened to her prayers. |
