Jammu, June 1: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation (JKGEWF) today criticized state government for back tracking its commitment. Addressing a press conference president of the amalgam of various organizations, Associations and unions organized at Jammu S. Kulwant Singh expressed the anguishing over the anti-Employees and Anti-workers attitude of the Government. "The Government is back tracking from the written agreement made/ signed between the Employees leadership and Govt. Representatives on 15th September 2011 & 08/07/2012. It is unfortunate that the employees are facing breach of trust", he said, adding that the employees were on struggle for their just and genuine demands. "The removal of pay anomalies of different Cadres, the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed 7 years of service after 1994, for settlement of the grievances of public sector employees, Rehbar-e-Taleem, Anganwari Workers, regulation, promotion of different Cadre and also for implementation of the DA order in favour PSU employees", JKGEWF president demanded. He further demanded that the enhancement of retirement age from 58 Years to 60 years. Kulwant Singh appealed to the present Government of J&K to stop exploitation of Educated Youths by Stopping adhocism, and contractualism and provide them permanent jobs.
