| JKSUNTECC demands enhancement in retirement age | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 26: J&K State Universities Non-Teaching Employees Coordination Committee (JKSUNTECC), Srinagar enhance the retirement age of the non-teaching employees of all the universities of the state at par with retirement age of teaching fraternity of the universities from 60 to 62 years. Addressing a press conference here today, President SKUAST-J, Non-Teaching Employees Association, Jammu, BN Singh on behalf of J&K State Universities Non-Teaching Employees Coordination Committee said that a meeting through video conferencing was held at SKUAST-K, Shalimar Campus Srinagar with Non-Teaching Association and Non-Gazetted Union of University of Jammu on June 26. Singh informed that it was unanimously resolved to urge Pro-Chancellor of the Universities, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Governor N N Vohra in the capacity of Chancellor of Universities to enhance the retirement age of the non-teaching employees of all the universities of the state at par with retirement age of teaching fraternity of the universities from 60 to 62 years.He further said that on behalf of the non-teaching staff of all the universities request Pro-Chancellor and Chancellor of the universities to issue necessary ordinance for enhancement of retirement age of non-teaching employees of all the universities in the state. |
