| Annual Chound Mata Yatra concludes | | | Early Times Report
Doda, June 28 : As usual the annual holy Chound Mata Yatra, was organized in this chenab valley region of Doda dsistrict this year ,The Yatra proceeded from base camp Shiv Mandir Nagari Doda to far flung remote and militancy affected area to its final destination at Shiya Dhar via village Kulhand. , This Yatra was organized by the Shree Chound Mata Yatra Committee three day ago and concluded today.
In this Yatra about more than four thousand pilgrims from various parts of chenab valley region participated .According to the Makhan Lal Sharma spokes person of the committee, the Yatra was started from Doda on 25th of June 2014 from Shiv Mandir Doda and reached village Kulhand with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The committee have organized a Jagran in which the pilgrims were participated by performing Bhajan /Kirtan .
On the next day the yatra proceeded to Trank Dhar under the guidance of Committee President Kashmir Singh who commanded the pilgrims for safe and sound journey . Trank Dhar is well known for its natural beauty, being covered with little and small valise, dens forest , natural flowers fragmenting different kinds of natural perfumes etc.
At Trank Dhar , a Kudd Mela and other religious programms were organized by the Committee. On 27th of June 2014 Yatra reached inHoly Chound Mata Temple at Shiya Dhar for performing holy darshanas. After performing darshanas Yata returned back toward village Kulhand for night halt. On 28.06.2014 pilgrims reached at Doda.
The whole process of Yatra completed successfully.' |
