Srinagar, June 28 : Ravinder Sharma (MLC) and Chief Spokesperson J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) met Khursheed Ahmed Ganai, Chairman of the Committee on Administrative Units, Financial Commissioner Industries & Commerce at Srinagar and raised the demands of left out areas of Sunderbani and Nowshera for new units of Tehsil and CD Blocks etc.In a press statement issued from Srinagar, Congress MLC apprised Chairman of the Committee on administrative units of the demand of Devak area of Sunderbani.
Referring that adjoining Panchayats of Hathal, Nala-Makole, Bimliya and Thagriot too are lagging behind in development, he sought Tehsil and Block status and Niabats for this belt so as to ensure due development.
Sharma also pleaded for Tehsil status to Lamberi and Bhawani area of Sub-District Nowshera, in view of the topography, distance and population of these areas. He pleaded for proper consultation of the public for setting up of new units in the area, as people already have represented before the concerned authorities as per prescribed procedure. |
