| Kichloo stress for better police-public relationship | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 28: Minister of State (MoS) Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today stressed for better police-public relationship to maintain better law and order situation.
While chairing a meeting of Officers of District Police Doda, Traffic Police and IRP 5th Bn, the minister stressed upon to have strengthened Police Public relations and subsequently involving youths in day to day activities and also stressed that maximum activities be brought under Civic Action Programmes (CAPs).Minister of State Kichloo also directed that more work against drug menace which is mainly responsible to divert the activities of youths to anti social activities may need to be curbed with iron hands. He also stressed that accidents may be minimized by strengthening the traffic unit deployed in Doda-Kishtwar zone. Earlier SP Doda Mohammad Sharif Chouhan briefed the MOS Home about the achievements and actions taken to curb crime and necessary measures taken to avoid accidents in the area under his jurisdiction.
