JAMMU, June 28 : Complete all the projects within stipulated time frame so that the benefits reach to people at the earliest stated Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports. Raman Bhalla while addressing a large gathering at Lower Gaddigarh after launching Rs. 50 lakh development works in the area, here this afternoon. He assured the residents of Lower Gaddigarh that all their development related issues would be redressed on priority basis, adding that the Government has laid focused on to develop all the localities on modern lines by providing safe drinking water, power, better roads, bye-lanes, drains, besides educational and healthcare infrastructure. The Minister called upon the people not to extend the access ramps of houses on the lanes and nallahs, adding that such practices create hindrances for the executing agencies in providing all infrastructural facilities to the inhabitants. He appealed them to cooperate with Government in this regard so that their localities could be developed with all basic amenities. Listing the achievements of the government, the Minister said that unprecedented progress has recorded in the core sectors like PHE, PDD, R&B, UEED, Health and Education to ensure safe drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, better sewerage, education and health services to the people in their respective areas. Responding to local issues, the Minister informed that two revenue complex involving a cost of Rs. 1.28 crore are under progress to provide revenue related services to the people of Karan Bagh, Lower Gaddigarh, Chatha, Bhour Camp Rani Talab and old Satwari and its adjoining areas under one roof, He assured that these would be completed within stipulated time frame. About the beautification of the road dividers from Narwal to Kunjwani, the Minister said NHAI authorities are on job to plant ornamental saplings, landscaping, besides installation of lights . Later, Bhalla along with a team of officers visited Shri Amarnath Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar and reviewed the arrangements made by the district administration for the convenience of the yatries.The Minister asked the officers of the Tourism Department, PHE, R&B, JMC, Revenue, Health, CAPDD and PDD to provide adequate facilities to the Shri Amarnath Yatries so that they do not face any inconvenience. Earlier, the artists of cultural wing of Information Department organized a scintillating cultural programme which was highly applauded by the huge present audience.
