Jammu, July 7: Jagti Tenement Committee has demanded identification of a separate location in Kashmir valley in three districts for the permanent settlement of KPs. According to press release, a meeting of JTC was held under the chairmanship of its President Shadi Lal Pandita. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the return of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley with great dignity and honour. He demanded identification of safe and secure particular place for bringing up three districts townships in Kashmir valley, at a single place near Srinagar city and extending all the constitutional rights by giving due representation to the community in the state legislature as well as in the parliament. The Migrant pandits from district of Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam be settled in one district township. Migrant of districts of Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal be settled in one district township and Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora be got settled in one district township in addition for due representation in State 10 Legislature & Assembly seats be reserved for Kashmiri Pandits and three Parliament Lok Sabha seats be reserved for the Community, he said. |
