| SRTC/GTU Association demands removal of pay anomalies | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: JK SRTC/GTU Pensioners Welfare Association today held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Ajit Singh Adyal Chairman of the Association to discuss the burning problems and demands of the GTU pensioner and family pensioners were discussed thoroughly. As per press release, the highlighted the demands including removal of pay anomalies in pay scale under 6th pay commission and bring the same at par with the pay scales of their counter-parts in the governmental departments, payment of HRA/CCA arrears w.e.f.01/1992 to 8/1993, implementation of SR014 in favour of erstwhile GTU employees who were not covered under DPC, early clearance of cases pending with the AG office on accounts of pay anomalies w.e.f 01.01.2006. Besides association also demanded release arrears payment of the 6th Pay Commission and applied matters liability of Rs 10 crores and Rs 43 lacs may be provide to SRTC so that GTU pensioner and family pensioner may get some financia/ relief. Adyal, said that the association had to proceed on a prolonged but peaceful struggle to persuade the state government and the management of the JKSRTC, to undo the injustice meted out as above to the pensioner/family pensioners of GTU who had retired from the JKSRTC. |
