| JKCTNGEA highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: Jammu and Kashmir Commercial Taxes Non-Gazzeted Employees Association (JKCTNGEA) demanded the fulfillment of their long pending demands in a meeting under the leadership of Surinder Gupta Chairman and Nazir Ahmad Bhat President of the Association. As per press release, Surinder Gupta said the Department and State Government are well aware with the fact that the department has submitted a re-organization proposal to the Govt, in the year 2009, which has not finalized till date without assigning any cogent reasons. Reportedly the re-organization file of the Excise and Commercial Taxes Department is presently being thrown from Finance Department to Planing Department without any cogent reasons just for delay tactics, he said. He said the proposal for "Model Recruitment Rules" of the department was submitted to the Finance Department in the year 2006 itself, which is gathering dust in the Finance Department as no heed is being paid towards that despite repeated reminders and personal representation in the Finance Department. He said It has all along been experienced that we are so unfortunate that the Departmental Promotion Committee on both State as well as Divisional level are not held in time as prescribed by the Finance department and in pursuance to the judgments delivered by various Courts. This attitude of higher authorities has caused unnecessary delay in promotion chance and put the officials to huge mental agony. |
