| 11 year-old commits suicide | | | Jammu, July 7: A minor boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at his residence in Jagti Nagrota.
The deceased has been identified as Ayush (11) son of Suresh Singh of Jagti Nagrota.
Police sources said that family members of the deceased were out of the house and when his mother reached home she found him hanging. She immediately with the help of locals shifted the body to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he was declared as brought dead.
Police said that family members of the deceased managed to escape with the body and accordingly GMC police post informed the Nagrota police.
However, Nagrota police failed to take possession of the body when last reports came in.
