| Jammu, July 7: The police officers of KPS who have completed their tenure of 15 years in police department are entitled to wear the rank of SSP. Following circular no 494 by Home Department and endorsed by PHQ , hundreds of SP rank officers of a various batches wear the rank of SSP, highly placed sources said Citing some names the sources said that 72 police officers of '99 KPS batch namely SP Anil Magotra, SP Ranjeet Singh, SP J.S Johar, SP Shakti Pathak, SP Rajeshwar Singh, SP Yasir Kitchloo, SP Mubiseer Latifi,SP Shamsher Hussain, SP Shiv Kumar among other police officers ranked as SSP. A senior police officer when contacted said that police officers of 99 KPS batch and other police officers have been ranked as SSP insitu through this Home Department order. |
