| GLTF resents amended ReT policy | | | Early Times Report
Samba, July 7: Following the government decision regarding amendments in ReT policy, the resentment is brewing among general line teachers and General Line Teacher Forum (GLTF) held its meeting at Samba under the supervision of President Neeraj Sharma along with all prominent districts presidents of Jammu province who strongly opposed the present form ReT state policy terming it against those selected through proper procedure by Service Selection Board. Activist of General Line Teacher Forum (GLTF) demonstrated against the unjustified and totally biased decision of present coalition regime which included the five years temporary service period of ReT's for their seniority and other related benefits. The forum unanimously highlighted the harmful and dangerous consequences of forceful implementation of this order of the state government t. The president GLTF observed the issue if not resolved amicably will become a source of bickering within two sections of teaching fraternity viz. ReT's and General Line Teachers. He said this Govt. decision is aimed to garner votes during the upcoming assembly elections and termed it as tool of vote bank politics. S Tejinder Singh, Kalbushan Singh, Inderjeet Singh and others also spoke in this meeting and urged general line teachers to remain united for their cause. |
