| MV International School outshines in State Speedball Championship | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: MV International School, Vijaypur bagged the trophy for "Overall Best Medalist Team" which included five gold, three silver and seven bronze medals in the recently conducted State Speedball Championship which was organized in M.A Stadium.
As many as 1200 students from 6 districts & 60 schools participated. Khurshid A Ganai, Financial Commissioner Industries and Commerce Department was the Chief guest, founder patron of Speedball Association Navin Agarwal, patron of Speedball Association Director General Youth Services & Sports, Shantmanu, Divisional Commi-ssioner of Jammu were the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
Players of MV International School named Atish Slathia (7th A), Aryan Vaid (8th A), Dishant Multonia(8th A), Vishal Sharma (8th B) and Vikas Sharma (5th B) got gold medals, Adeev Kundal (7th A), Mansi Slathia (8th C) and Himanshu Sharma (8th A) got silver medals whereas Aryan Vaid (7th A), Mansi Slathia (8th C), Prabjot Singh (4th C), Akshit Slathia (4th C), Rohtaz (6th C), Sparsh Samyal (7th A) and Pratham Thappa (7th A) got bronze medals. All the students who were a part of the team contributed a lot of the school team. |
