| Jain Shraman Sanskriti Manch pays tributes at Balidan Stambh | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: A tribute was paid to Balidan Stambh by the volunteers of the Jain Shraman Sanskriti Manch here at Bagh-i- Bahu.
The scores of volunteers of the Manch under the leadership of its president Manju Jain and general secretary Monika Jain paid visit to the Balidan Stambh keeping its historic importance as it is the place where the flame, commemorating the sacrifices of the brave soldiers who attained martyrdom burns eternally. Modh Aslam, Superintendent of Police, deputed there, described the importance of Satamb. The glimpse of the magnificent lights of the Stambh in the evening made the volunteers mesmerized.
The volunteers, mostly ladies, appreciated the peace and beauty of the place and sang a patriotic songs in honour of martyrs. |
