Jammu, Dec 16: BJP State Spokesperson and State Election Media Incharge Arun Kumar Gupta, while reacting to the statement of Former Chief Minister & Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad that no party is ready to shake hands with BJP, said that we need no support from any other party because people of the state have made their mind to support BJP to form an absolute majority government.
He said that we have fixed allies and we do not swing from one party to another like Congress just to remain in power. BJP is not power hungry like Congress and will not compromise with its agenda to share power with any opportunistic party, he added.
He said that giving and taking support are the tactics of Congress not BJP. Congress always compromise with its core issues for the sake of power rather than taking stand for the people of the state. Congress did nothing for the betterment of the people and is least interested for the development of the state. It only bothers about their vested interest rather than giving benefits to the citizens.Gupta also condemned Azad's statement that BJP created distances between Jammu and Kashmir on Article 370.
He said that BJP has a clear stand on Article 370 and Azad is deliberately misleading the innocent people for petty political gains. It is Congress which is misguiding people and making Article 370 a political issue and trying to escape from real agenda of development, Gupta said. |
