Modi Govt sabotages interests of refugees: Balwan

Marh, Dec 16: Intensifying his poll campaign Sr Congress leader and party candidate for Marh Constituency Balwan Singh has said that BJP Govt. at the Centre has sabotaged the interests of refugees and flood affected people of Jammu and Kashmir for vested interests.
Addressing series of public meetings in Akalpur and other villages of Marh Constituency, Balwan criticized Central Government for turning down the package of refugees and the proposal of State Government for the relief and rehabilitation of flood victims. He said that Congress has ensured equitable development and safeguarding the interests of Jammu region by the Coalition Government. Balwan appealed to the people to give clear mandate to Congress Party in the State to carry forward the era of development in all three regions of the State. Balwan further said that BJP is spreading false propaganda and failed to come up to promises on any front, rather backtracking on various issues and promises adding that Congress is a force to reckon with in the country and three regions of the State and hoped that people would give clear mandate to Congress in the State to serve them and take care of welfare of every section of the society. Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion include Sr Congress Leader Lala Devi Dass, Ashwani Sharma and Suadagar Singh Saini Block President, Devi Dayal Sharma, Balak Ram, Darshan Mottan, Sham Lal Bhagat (ex-Sarpanch), Swarn Singh, Banshi Lal, Shiv Ram, Gulzar Singh (Sarpach), Ram Dass, Uttam Singh, Surak Singh and Sham Lal Panch.
