Akhnoor, Dec 16: Continuing his extensive electioneering in hilly and remote areas of Akhnoor constituency, Sham Lal Sharma, Senior Congress Leader and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood control, expressed his faith in Jammu people, urged upon them to defeat both, BJP and NC, who exposed as betrayers of their interests, has hidden agenda to keep, "Jammu as second fiddle to Kashmir." He described BJP as directionless, derailed from their past rhetorics of Art370 and CM from Jammu of late trying to offer lollypop of development, indeed, failed to give anything special to our state worsely affected by heavy floods. And denied one time settlement package to Chhamb DPs\ PoJK refugees despite recommended by state government, alleged for clubbing it with WP refugees whose rehabilitation involved grant of citizenship, which need constitutional process, but BJP had malafide intentions on whole issue. Sharma making dig at BJP's good governance claim said even Modiji fed up by his own party leaders making public statements had to show his displeasure, which exposed how BJP to bring their achhe din with controversies around. He said,"20 seats last phase elections, "will decide the fate of BJP and NC and Congress all set to get majority of them since voters trusted Congress alone can steer forward the agenda of good governance and to empower Jammu region with Regional Development Council as pledges in their manifesto. Castigating, BJP and its leaders had jaundiced eyes could not seen development of Akhnoor, making false claims, Sharma said, after election results they have to pack up and sulk into hibernation. He accused BJP to back track from all those issues of Jammu cause, but reiterated, if Jammu people give massive mandate to Congress, their all dreams to be translated into political reality. |
