Despite lowest migrant vote fall ratio BJP claims 90% share

Srinagar, Dec 16: At a time when majority of Migrant Kashmiri Pandits stayed away from polling during fourth phase on their own, Bhartiya Janata party (BJP) claims 90% vote share out of 5169 votes cast by KP's with seven seats from Kashmir and claims to form next government in Jammu and Kashmir. The all important fourth phase of polling during ongoing polls which came to an end on Sunday evening according to analysts draw curtains on dreams of BJP leadership and their mission 44 as the expected migrant vote share for their candidates in Kashmir could not go beyond 5169 votes. Similarly in Hazratbal constituency total 360 migrant votes were polled by KP's, in Zadibal 77,in Eidgah 68,inKhanyar 290,in Habba Kadal 2817,in Amira Kadal 837,in Sonwar 236 and in Batamaloo total 484 votes were polled by migrants. As BJP which is working for its set Mission 44 and claims to form government by banking on migrant votes particularly in Habba Kadal constituency where from Dr Hina Bhat is contesting for BJP according to officials figures out of total 31000 migrant registered voters only 9638 people had filled their mandatory 'M -Forms' and Out of 9638votes only 5169 migrant voters cast their votes in different constituencies of Srinagar. The figures reveal that BJP which was expecting complete boycott in Srinagar and considering migrant vote share in a constituency like Haba-Kadal as an edge for their candidate, however Haba Kadal constituency which witnessed a polling percentage of 11.62 in 2008 and 21.01% on Sunday elections with an increase of around ten percent, mere 2817 migrant Voters cast in the constituency according to analysts shook the BJP march to Kashmir and ended their dream to form next government. BJP central Kashmir President, Dr Ali Muhammad Who while talking to early times said that BJP candidates in Kashmir got 90% vote share out of total migrant votes cast during fourth phase of polling and while give reasons of KP's staying away from polling said that migrant Kashmiri Pandits are scattered across the country, that is why they could not vote and added that BJP will form next government of Jammu and Kashmir. "Less vote fall could not dither our mission 44,politicians like Omar Abdullah are worried for overwhelming response to BJP in Kashmir, we will 3 seats from Srinagar,3 from South Kashmir and 1 from Budgam Districts and form our own government and give a befitting reply to Kashmir politicians."Said Ali Muhammad. He also said that in constituencies like Haba-Kadal and Amira Kadal BJP candidates got 90% of vote share out of total migrant votes polled by Migrant Kashmiri Pandits and claims that BJP candidates won both Haba-Kadal, Amira-Kadal besides one more seats from Srinagar District. Pertinently not a single organization, association of migrant Kashmiri Pandits so far announced their support to BJP during ongoing polling process in Jammu and Kashmir openly like very recently Sikh Fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir announced their support for PDP.
