HC directive in PIL on border people 12/16/2014 11:58:16 PM Jammu, Dec 16 : In a PIL, highlighting the plight of border residents and seeking direction to state for providing adequate medicare, food and lodging to the persons displaced due to recent Pakistan firing, a high court division bench of Chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan observed that response to the status report has not been filed as per the directions issued in the September 18, 2014, and November 27, 2014 order. The bench observed that counsel for the petitioner had requested for further time to comply with the aforesaid orders and file the response before next date of hearing.
