| Modi's government has failed to implement its promises of "Achey Din': Rahul | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 16: Lambasting Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leadership for divisive politics, RahulGandhi, Congress vice president said that Modi's government has failed to implement its promises of "Achey Din' made with the people of the country.
He added that recently a bureaucrat at New Delhi told me that all the wisdom come from a single man wile one other is authorized to speak.
He added that Modi had said that he would uptake Pakistan, but nothing has happened till today. When he was in China he asked them( Chinese leadership) not to breach the borders but when China's president was in India its forces intruded into our border.
Modi ji had promised of 'Achey Din' but nothing and had said that he would change India, but after 6 months no such things were witnessed o ground. "Congress implemented people friendly projects like food security bill, MANREGA, RTI, RGGVY etc but Modi have failed to implement his programmes and instead gave 'Zhroos" (brooms) in the hands of the people to clean India" said Rahul Gadh.
Previous Union government (UPA) had provided Rs 20000 crores to J&K for better road connectivity's and railway projects but Narendra Modi while in Australia had provided Rs 6000 crores to a businessman.
"This money could have been utilized for the improvements of road connectivity. 11 kms long tunnel at Rmaban for railway connectivity, historical Mughal road, Jozila tunnel, opening of Chakan-da-Bagh and Rawlakot road from Poonch , employment to 27000 un-employed youth etc are among major projects implemented in the J&K during UPA regime" said Rahul Gandhi.
He added that if elected to power in the state the Congress will provide cheap ration, free generic medicines, regularize daily wagers and contractual.
He added that Congress want grass root level government and that is why UPA regime conducted elections for panchyats in the state. But forces like BJP want to centralized governance.
"65 years rule of Congress I the country is very ahead of those who ruled the country and if elected to power Congress will give representations to elected members of the panchayts in running the government" said Rahul.
Prof Soz wile addressing the people appreciated the regime of Gulam Nabi Azad and said tat maximum developmental works were started/ completed during is tenure.
He appealed to vote in favor of Shabir Khan (Rajouri) and Mohd Iqbal Malik (Darhal) who were present on the occassion.
Ghulam Nabi Azad welcomed women who attended the rally in large umber and appreciated the people of the district who fought three wars with Pakistan by standing shoulder to shoulder with the security forces for the integrity of the Nation. |
