| IRCS organizes training programme for JYRC counselors | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16 : Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) today organizes two day training programme for Junior, Youth Red Cross (JYRC) counselors here Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu. According to press release, around 30 teachers from District Ganderbal and Udhampur participated in the training programme. Roma Wani, General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu and Kashmir State Secretary, Regional Red Cross Committee, Jammu inaugurated the Progra-mme, R C Puri was also present. Puri while addressing the participants stressed the need to strengthen the Red Cross Units at the district level. The training programme was organized with an objective to rejuvenate the Junior and Youth Red Cross Movement in the State. To boost up the morale of the participants, various experience-sharing sessions were organized. Red Cross Volunteers, Subash Chandra Bali and Dinesh Gupta who had recently received Merit Certificate and Gold Medal by president of India. |
