CUJ Professor bags prestigious IPAA General Secretary post | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 25: Prof Y Pardhasaradhi Head of Department, Public Policy and Public Administration (PPPA)Central University of Jammu has been elected as National General Secretary of Indian Public Administration Association. According to press release, two-day Indian Public Administration Association's (IPAA) national conference on emerging Issues in Public Administration and Rural Development was held at Haryana Institute of Rural Development, Nilokheri, Haryana on 20-21, December 2014. The conference deliberated at length the complex issues in administration at all levels of governments includes Unique Identification (UID) and Direct Cash Transfer Programmes. Fifteen academicians and research scholars from Central University of Jammu participated in the conference and presented insightful research papers in seven different panels. Prof. Y. Pardhasaradhi, Head, Department of Public Policy & Public Administration was elected as National General Secretary of Indian Public Administration Association. Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik, Kurukshetra University, Haryana was elected as the President of the Association. Dr. Govind Kumar Inakhiya, Department of Public Policy and Public Administration, Central University of Jammu was inducted as the member of the National Executive Committee along with other ten academicians. Mohit Sharma, Department of Public Policy and Public Administration and Shri Rashid Ali, Department of Mass Communication and New Media, Central University of Jammu were chosen as Election Officers to facilitate smooth elections along with Prof. JS Shekhawat, Jainarayan Vyas University Jodhpur, Rajasthan. |
