| NMC hails Bharat Ratna for Vajpayee, Malviya | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 25: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri hailed the decision of NDA led Central Government in conferring Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award to the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee adding that this credit goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Commenting on the decision, Shastri said that the decision recognize the great services rendered to the nation by former Prime Minister Vajpayee in the most appropriate manner. Shastri said that Vajpayee deserve the country highest award not only for his contribution in India political arena but for his historic decisions taken during his tenure as a Prime Minister of India and expressed the hope that the NDA government headed by Narendra Modi will pursue the policies and programs of Vajpayee on national development as a tribute to the great politician and statesman. This will help in inspiring the 125 crores populations of this great country to tirelessly and selflessly work for the welfare of the great nation, he added.
Shastri however also welcomed the Government decision to confer Bharat Ratna award to Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya a great freedom fighter of the country. |
