| NSF threatens to launch agitation | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25: National Secular Forum (NSF) on Thursday warned to launch an agitation, if the ineligible officers occupying more than one post are not removed within 24 hours.
Addressing media persons, Province Vice-president Barket Ali said that administrative machinery of Jammu University was not working properly as per expectations of student, which is adversely affecting their studies.
"As per norms, one man should hold one post only and what is happening on the campus is contrary to the rules. A group of professors occupies more than three or more key posts which eventually affect the students as well as administrative functioning of the varsity," he said, adding instead of adhocism and giving additional charge to some favorites', the Vice-Chancellor should go for a viable solution by filling these posts on permanent basis.
They appealed Chancellor NN Vohra to direct Vice Chancellor Jammu University for one-man one post otherwise NSF would start agitation within 24 hours.
