Bee Enn Hospital conducts 750 free cataract surgeries | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 25 : Bee Enn Hospital has registered over 850 patients as on date for availing free eye cataract surgeries; reads a press release issued by the hospital administration. Kunil Bhalla, Managing Trustee informed that 750 patients have availed the free service. Suffering from cataract problem since several years, they are now able to see clearly and their lives have changed with the free cataract operations by the hospital. He also informed that besides other activities, the hospital is always committed to its charitable activities, providing free medical treatment to poor and needy, Free Bone Material Denisity (BMD) tests, free cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries and now free cataract surgery. Dr. Satish Gupta (M.S Ophthalmology) informed that the aim of free cataract surgery is to give light to those who are in darkness because of poverty. The press statement issued by the hospital administration reads that this service is open to all on a regular basis. Any person requiring this surgery can register with the reception of t he hospital on any day at a nominal cost of Rs, 200. |
