Kishtwar, Dec 25: Executive members of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) District Kishtwar on Thursday criticized the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department for their delay into the completion of Neigadh water supply scheme. Speaking on the occasion, Joginder Bhandari said that the PHE division Kishtwar had provided the work of Neigadh to a Hyderabad based executing agency M/s TA Infrastructure Pvt India limited somewhere two years ago but the work has not been started as a result of which the public of Kishtwar continuously suffer a lot for want of drinking water. "The union led by chairman met the in charge of M/s Jhelum Infra to enquire about the present status of the project, he assured the work will be started shortly," he added. Among those attended the meeting included Bashir Khan, Mohammad Amin Butt, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Ghulam Hussain Gannie, Javed Iqbal, Sameer Butt, Mohd Ashraf Gannie, Asgar Hussain, Akhter Hussain, Sunil Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, Sajjad Sheikh, Shoket Ahanger and others. |
