| Counter FIR lodged against BJP Mandal incharge | | | Early Times Report
Nowshera, Dec 25: Another incident of high handedness by BJP workers unleashing terror in Nowshera region came to limelight when one Mandal incharge of the party Mool Raj Sharma and his accomplices who stopped an auto rickshaw and threatened the passengers with their life .
As per the information Harbans Lal and Balbir Singh, the residents of Gangrot in Nowshera were taking a pregnant lady to the hospital when Mool Raj and his people in a drunkard state stopped the auto and threatened them with their life .
The matter when came into the notice of the police, it took the U-turn as the victims were left hapless when the influential Mool Raj got an Fir No 294 registered against Harbans lal and Balbir Singh , both of whom were taken into the custody.
Both the victims' plea to file a counter FIR was not given any heed by the SHO Nowshera Kuldeep Raj
On hearing the complaint of the relative of Harbans Lal, the victim , this reporter reached the SHO Nowshera with a query as to how a pregnant lady's condition and other on-the-spot verification was not done before lodging the FIR .
The reporter was directed by the SHO to talk to his senior and did not have any audience to his query.
The SDPO Nowshera Sargan Shukla (IPS) when contacted said," The police will take the cognizance after the investigation of the case '.
However when the SSP Rajour Haseeb Mughal was contacted, he said that since the case has been brought into the notice, he would initiate a proper enquiry to see into the matter.
The SSP immediately flashed the message to his lower rung to take the appropriate action and a counter FIR No 200 was lodged in police station Nowshera gainst Moll Raj Sharma and others. Police is investigating the case. |
