| Jasroita hails people of Kathua | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 25: BJP MLA Rajeev Jasrotia thanked people of all the three regions Kandi, Andhar and Urban areas of Kathua constituency.
He said that it was not possible to win the seat without the trust of all the three regions of the constituency. Rajeev ensured to bring revolution of development of the constituency and trailer of which would be revealed soon.
It is mandatory to mention here that Kathua city decked into saffron colors as counting of votes from all the constituency had been done at Degree College Kathua. A huge rally had been organized by BJP workers.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP won 11 seats in the 2008 Assembly Elections and but as per the trends the number has increased to 25. Increase of 14 seats. Despite being the second largest party, BJP has emerged as the party with largest vote share party by securing 23 per cent of votes.
Jasrotia said BJP's victory in the elections "is a lesson for those (political parties) that cry secularism and try to derail the development agenda prevalent in our country since the BJP government came to power. The BJP promises that it will stand by the voters through all odds and never give them this feeling that they are alone. The voters have done enough for the party already and it is for the party to repay the debt the voters have put it into," he said.
The BJP is grateful to the voters for their heavy participation in all the five rounds of elections. Some wise men had predicted that there will be less polling but the voters have proved them wrong. With every round of elections the voting only grew in numbers and the percentage improved. This has been the BJP's agenda as it wanted maximum participation in the electoral process by the voters," Jasrotia added.
The BJP expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the voters for the manner in which they participated in the elections.
The party promises that it will fulfill its promises made to the voters as their support was the most vital thing the party counted upon, he said. Jasrotia also thanked his Party workers for their hard work. |
