| JMC continues anti-encroachment drive | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14: The Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Er. Kiran Wattal alongwith Joint Commissioner and Enforcement Staff made a tour of Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Marble Market, Transport Nagar, Fruit Mandi and Vegetable Mandi Narwal area, to check the ongoing constructions in the area. Two buildings were sealed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation at Marble Market, Jammu and the shuttering of two buildings has been got removed on spot at Transport Nagar, Jammu during the tour of area. The Commissioner instructed the Khilafwarzi section to take cognizance of all such constructions which are being undertaken in violation of Master Plan and building permission so that all such violators are booked under law. The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appeals to the General Public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing will be taken. |
