Omar 'admits' having had no kaam-dhanda | | | Early Times Report srinagar, Jan 14: National Conference working president Omar Abdullah had tactly admitted that he was more active on the twitter than being focussed on the governance in his six-year tenure of the chief minister . "It's nice to be able to tweet without having to worry about people asking me "koi kaam dhanda nahin hai kya?" Omar had twitted on twitter-the micro blogging site. Omar, who contested elections from the two constituencies, lost from the one and could barely manage to scrape through with just about 1,000 votes. Omar Abdullah led the National Conference in the Assembly elections which suffered its worst ever performance by winning just 15 seats. Omar though has not conceded the defeat and expected his fault but has instead said that PDP could not fare better despite the many chance he had offered to them. The NC working president, was one of the most active political leaders on the social media including twitter. He had not only opinion on every thing under the sun but would even tweet during the cabinet meetings. "He has now finally admitted what he was doing all these years: Kaam dhandha nahi hai kaya. He was least interested even in important cabinet meetings and was either tweets or checking the tweets or phone calls," said a senior bureaucrat, wishing not to be named. Omar has again started using twitter to express his view, which incidentally are funny, which some believe are reflections of this thinking and vision. He had twitted: :Looking at the way the PPD spokesman is hitting out at me you'd be forgiven for thinking that I've snatched his favourite toy." He had twitted it when the party decided to extend support PDP for the government formation. Political observers believe that it shows the sincerity of the Omar in giving support to the PDP as it is bereft of sincerity but just a political ploy to make political roads, as NC stands on the cross roads now.
