15000 bank accounts opened in Ramban under PMJDY 1/14/2015 11:25:45 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Jan 14: About 15000 new bank accounts have been opened in Ramban district under Pradhan Mantri JanDhan Yojana (PMJDY). This was disclosed during a daylong special awareness programme at Ramban today. The programme was organised by Directorate of Filed Publicity Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India. District Development Commissioner Farooq Shah Bukhari Presided over the function. The programmes focused on three nationwide programmes of NDA Government at the Centre that is Pardhan Mantri JanDhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Beti Bachao-Beti Prao Abhiyan. Lauding the role of Field Publicity in enhancing awareness and public involvement in social cause District Development Commissioner urged the participants to help in big way in achieving 100% target in the district under the schemes. Panchyats members, Sarpanches, Anganwari Workers besides general public attended the day long programme. Earlier Assistant Director Field publicity Mushtaq Ahmed Tantray highlighted objective of the programme and urged on furthering inclusive development by peoples involvement ACD Arvind Kirwani, District Panchyat Officer GH Krinpal and Representatives of Banks including Ilyas Wani -LBO also spoke on the occasion and highlighted implementation of these schemes in the district.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
