JAMMU, Jan 14: With a view to organize culture programme at various venues on the eve of Republic day celebration in the State, a high level meeting of Officers of various departments held under the chairmanship of Director Information, Mukhtar-ul-Aziz here on Wednesday.
Director Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu, Director All India Radio, Joint Director Information (HQS), Additional Secretary, J&K Academy besides other senior officers of the concerned departments participated in the meeting.
The meeting in this regard threadbare discussed the arrangements made by concerned departments. The concerned Officers apprised that necessary arrangements are being made for presentation of cultural programmes at various locations in the State. Director Information exhorted the concerned officers to ensure all necessary preparedness well in time.
He stressed that such programmes should be informative, result oriented for the people.
