MIER-CE boarders celebrate Lohri at campus 1/14/2015 11:44:44 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 14: Hostel boarders of MIER College of Education (MIER-CE) celebrated Lohri with great joy and fun in which students from 12 different states showcased their unique traditions and rituals. Students were in the festive mood since morning and were keenly waiting for the celebrations to begin with 'lighting of traditional bonfire'. Students gathered around the bonfire and participated in the Lohri rituals, which was then followed by a cultural bonanza. After offering formal prayers to their deities the students while sitting around the bonfire relished upon "Gachak" and other candies from traditional stuff.
