| RTI PF demands time bound recruitment procedure by JKSSB | | |

Jammu, Feb 9: Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Practitioners' Forum (RTI-PF) has demanded time bound completion of recruitment procedure by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board that is responsible for conducting tests and interviews for all non gazetted posts in the state.
The demand came in back drop of recently after the concerned authorities while replying to RTI activist Raman Sharma, has admitted that presently it do not follow and have any policy or time limit for completion of recruitment procedure. While demanding an immediate formulation of a policy and provision of time bound completion of all recruitment procedure for all posts by the JKSSB, the spokesperson of the J&K RTI Practitioners' Forum, Dewaker Sharma, advocate J&K High Court, said that in absence of any time bound result by the board, the aspiring candidates, thousands of young educated girls and boys suffer, they continue to wait for result of their interviews and tests but many a times the board takes years together in completing the recruitment procedure. Urging the Governor NN Vohra to intervene in this serious issue, Adv Dewaker said their group is also mulling to resort to legal options in this regard. |
