Jammu, Feb 9: Muzaffar Hussain Baig Friends Club today organized a meeting of the residents of Ward No. 1 under the Chairmanship of Naveen Jain, chairman & spokesperson of the Club for redressed of the grievances of the people residing in the area which is badly afflicted by the various day to day problems.
According to press release, under the direction of their Chief Patron Muzaffar Hussain Baig, MP whose mission is only to serve the cause of humanity, great vision and inspiration for youth, said he.
A large number of senior residents as well as youth of the area narrated their problems particularly regular traffic jams, which has become like a perineal disease and restricts the free movement of elderly people and also cause severe problem of traffic jams for long hours.
The people demanded proper parking space to check this nuisance.
During the meeting public expressed their concern regarding incantatory conditions in the area and said it is unfortunate that the agencies responsible (JMC) has miserably failed in their obligations to keep the city areas clean particular ward no. 1.
The speakers on the occasion apprised the gathering that the heavy traffic and incantation conditions are also showing its effects on the Mubark Mandi Heritage Complex and held that the slow pace of renovation as well as improvement of the depilated historical structure shows the lack of interest on the part of the agency which has been entrusted with this prestigious job and made a fervent appeal to the Hon'ble Governor for his personal intervention in the matter to save the pride of Dogras. |
