VIJAYPUR, Feb 9: A meeting of Sarpanchs was convened under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Rarian, Bittu Dogra .
A large number of Sarpanchs of Bari Brahmana and Purmandal blocks who participated in the meeting alleged that 14 government departments which have been brought under the purview of panchayats are not cooperating with the Sarpanchs.
The participants stressed upon the administration that the departmental works should be executed completely through panchayats as per the provisions of Panchayati Raj Act.
