 Kathua, Feb 9: Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority today launched a calendar depicting several tourist places falling in District Kathua.
Dr Shaheed Iqbal, DDC Kathua lunched the calendar where AADC Kathua and CEO LSDA were also present. DDC Kathua appreciated the action being taken by LSDA to promote local tourist places through calendar. While interacting to ET, Bharat Bhushan , CEO, LSDA, informed that many such tourist places like Bani, Sarthal, Sukrala Mata, Sundari Mata etc are depicted in the calendar to attract the tourists in district Kathua. He added that LSDA would launch many other facilities in tourist places and never leave any stone unturned to promote potentiality of tourist places falling in District Kathua. He said the main aim of the lunching calendar to aware people about the tourist places and facilities being provided by LSDA.Mahavir, a hotelier, said Sarthal and Bani have high potentiality to attract the tourists but places are deprived off proper promotion and development. He added that he had attended several conferences in Banglore, Bangkok and Singapore and realized that those government took initiative to promote tourist places at large scale but J&K government ignored mountainous beauty of Kathua district that affected business and development. |
