Jammu, Feb 9: Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India is launching "Punarjagaran Abhiyan" in 100 districts across the country through Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.
Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua has been selected as one of the 100 district NYKs' for implementing the said programme.
The main objective of the Punarjagaran Abhiyan (Mass Awakening) is to organize, aware, educate youth for empowerment & to play active and constructive role in developmental activities.
Publicize, promote, sensitize public to participate in National Flagship Programme viz. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Beti Bachaao - Beti Padhaoo, Practice & Promote Good Governance, Skill Development, Motivation for and facilitate construction of Toilets under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan, organizing Sharam Dhan.
