Hiranagar , Jammu Club clinches football & Kabbadi titles

Jammu, Mar 16 : Hiranagar Football boys Club defeated Ranbir school in the final match whereas Jammu Club defeated Kathua club and clinched the title trophies in the Zonal Level Police Sports festival for boys & girls which is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu at gulshan ground Jammu.
The Zonal level Sports function for boys & girls of under-19 yrs which includes the events namely Cricket, Football, Kabbadi, Volleyball, Kho Kho, Tug of War and Athletic events is being organized under the overall supervision of IGP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu is the incharge of organizing team whereas Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer & Member Sports council is the Coordinator of the sports festival. The slogan of the sports festival is "Lets Play and keep Stress away".
Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu was the Chief guest in todays' matches who was introduced with the participating teams and while interacting with the players, he appreciated the discipline and keen interest of rural players towards the games. The Chief Guest advised the players to playing the game of your choice and stay healthy. Later on the Chief Guest in presence of Rajesh Gill Coordinator of the Sports festival distributed the trophies to the runner and winner of the football & kabbadi event.
Earlier in the Second semifinal of the football event Ranbir School defeated HSS Akhnoor by 5-0 goals.
In the final match Hiranagar football Club defeated Ranbir School Club by 5-0 goals.
Kabbadi : In second semi final Kathua Club beat Udhampur Club by 2 points whereas in the final match Jammu club beat Kathua Club by 2 points and won the final.
Cricket Boys : Jammu Rising Club defeated HCC Ramnagar by 85 runs.
Batting Jammu Rising Stars score 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 17 overs with Sahil Lalotra 56, Akshit 32 and Sartak 31 runs. From bowling Side udhay took 2 wickets,Manjeet, Rakesh and Aditya took 1 wickets. In reply HCC Ram Nagar could not chased the target and managed to score 83 runs in 13.2 overs by losing all wickets with Pankaj 18,Paras 12 and Gokul 11 runs. From Bowling Sahil Lalotra took 3 wickets, marutwan and Harman took 2 wickets each, while samad and Yuvraj shared 1 wicket each. Sahil Lalotra was declared man of the match.
In another match , Kishtwar Cricket Club beat Balhar Club Kathua by wickets. Batting first Balhar Club kathua scored 151 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs with Raghu 32,Shabum 24 and Nikhal 22 runs. From bowling side Faizan and Umar took 2 wickets each, Saqib took 1 wicket.
In reply Kishtwar Club chased the target in 19,5 for the loss of 7 wickets thus won the match by 3 wickets. Umar 33,Imran 31 and Suhail 23 were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Raghu took 3 wickets ,Shubam took 2 wickets, Nitin and Satyam took 1 wicket each. Umar was declared as Man of the match .
The officials of the events are Chamel Singh, Gurbachan Singh, narinder Pal Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq hussain, Farooq, Jagtar Singh, Madan Mohan, Sandeep, Sanju. whereas the proceedings of the post matches function were conducted by RP Singh and Rajesh Dhar.
