Attachment of health employees hampers work, Deptt unmoved | | | MS Nazki
Early Times Report Poonch, Mar 27: Attachment of health employees has been hampering the work in District Hospital Sub- Division hospitals, PHCs and Health Sub centers in the district due to shortage of staff and the health department seems to be in no mood to address the public grievances source said here today. Most of the health employees have been attached unnecessarily which has created a mess in health department hampering. The work in hospital and health centers in the district. People have been the worst sufferers who do not get required treatment in the health institutions due to shortage of staff. Some people while talking to Early Times said that in remote areas falling along the border have been suffering for want of proper medical care as the PHCs remain closed due to attachment of its employees this is sheer injustice and concerned authorities must intervene and send all the attached health employees to their original place of postings they added. All this has been going on under the very nose of Chief Medical officer Poonch Dr Mumtaz Bhatti who take a lenient view as the beneficiaries are said to be influential and take advantage of their approach in the corridors of higher ups in the Department Meanwhile Social Worker Mushtaq Ahmed has appealed to Director Health Services Jammu to direct the CMO Poonch for taking cognizance of the matter and cancel all attachments of health employees and send them back to their original place of posting to benefit the people at large, he added. |
