Residents of Ward 53,54 Trikuta Nagar highlight problems

Jammu, Mar 27: Residents of Ward 53 & 54 , organized meeting under the chairmanship of Chanchal Popli at her residence Trikuta Nagar, Jammu and discussed the problems being faced by the residents.
They also demanded the black topping and repair of lanes, by lanes of ward 53 & 54. They asked the maintenance of drainage system and slabs on open drains, linking the residential houses from main drains. The issue of hygienic was discussed and demanded clearing of debris & Kachra lying on drain tops. They also discussed regular collection of house to house Kachra, proper maintenance of existing street lights & installation of new street lights, fumigation of pesticides on drains & nallas, proper vigil by police force in view of present security situation. All the participants in the meeting were unanimously of the opinion that Raman Bala, earlier minister used to take personal care & attention to keep theses wards free from basic problems. It was agreed & decided by the participants in the meeting to meet concerned government agencies for redresal of their problems. Duties were allotted to various groups amongst the residents to fallow the issues at war footing with the government agencies. The meeting was attended amongst others by, B. S. Mastana, Retired D.C. Excise, S. Surrinder Singh Dutta ( Block president Congress ) S. Gurcharan Singh ( Ret. Principal Edu. Depptt.) Kuldeep Singh Arora, Aman Baba, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Vinay Abrol (President Ward 53), Omprakash Sharma ( President Ward 54 ).
