Vijaypur, Mar 27: Today Rehdi Fadi walas and hawkers of Vijaypur market elected their President Surinder Lal Sharma alias Sindhu.
Surindert has nominated/appointed the office bearers who include Vijay Choudhary-Vice President, Mohan Lal Gupta alias Bitu Gen. Secy., Hem Raj alias Sunny Secy. Ashok Kumar Gupta Cashier-cum-Treasurer.
Sharma alongwith Rehdi-Fadi walas met with Deputy Commissioner Samba and urged to provide them electricity, water and road facilities where the land has been provided to the Rehri-Fadi Walas in Block Ground Premises.
Sharma assured the Deputy Commissioner Samba that they will fully support to the administration to keep neat and clean Vijaypur Market and also do not install their Rehari Pharies abutting to the National High within the Market.
He urged the Deputy Commissioner to enforce the order in letter and spirit in the entire market and asked the shopkeeper to remove the encroachment from footpath.
Deputy Commissioner Samba assured the president Rehdi Fadi Walas that their demands shall be redressed very soon, Deputy Commissioner Samba issued the instructions to the Tehsildar and Executive Officer, Vijaypur on to provide the each and every facility to the rehari phari walas so that they can earn their livelihood and also issued the instructions to enforce the order in letter and spirit in the entire market Deputy Commissioner Samba further assured that in the month of April, 2018, the tiles shall be laid in the new Vegetables and Fruits market in the block ground.
