| Locals of Dudu sub division stage protest against transfer of SDM | | |  Early Times Report
Chenani, Mar 27 : Scores of locals of Sub Division Dudu today staged peaceful protest demonstration against the government for untimely transfer of an honest and dedicated SDM Baseer-ul-Haq and demanded revocation of the order.
All the shops were closed as a mark of protest against the transfer of SDM Dudu within three months.
Protestors said that he worked hard to uplift the far flung area of district Udhampur, implementing multiple projects of state and central government in such a remote area.
It was the first protest of the locals of Dudu as earlier the locals never protest against any move of the government which was against the locals.
Speaking on the occasion one of the protestor said that earlier also the government transferred the former SDM Dudu Dr Tahir Firdous within three months.
People of Sub Division appeal the government to modify the order otherwise ready to face the massive agitation and protest in phase wise manner.
Beopar Mandal president Krishan Lal Gupta, Block President Congress Mohd Abbas, Ex Sarpanch Mohd Akhter Hussain, Beant Gupta ex Sarpanch Chappar and BJP General Secretary District Udhampur and Chairman Latti Development Committee- Kasturi Lal Gupta were among the who were present during the protest. |
