Religious congregation held at Hanuman Temple

Jammu, Mar 27: A four-day religious programme is being organized by the Parbandhak Committee of ancient Hanuman Temple, Sabzi Mandi, to celebrate Lord Hanuman Jayanti with religious fervor and gaiety.
Addressing a press conference here today, spokesman of the committee, Rajiv Gupta told media persons that the religious programme will commence on March29 with Ramayan Path at 10 am which will conclude on March 30 with the performance of Aarati. 0n March 31 the day of Hanuman Jayanti, Puran Ahuti will be performed at 11 am.
"Bhajan Sandhya will be organized on March 31 in premises of Dogra Brahmin Sabha, Parade Ground, Jammu from 8 pm onwards in which several renowned singers including Anita Sharma, Vishal Gupta, Indu Bala, Sunil Sharma, Sonali Dogra, Purnima Sharma and others will perform", he added.
While speaking on the occasion, B S Jamwal, Subash Shastri,Head priest Buvnesh Sharma, Kamal Sharma, junior Priest, Ashish Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Naresh Gupta and Vinod Gupta said that a 101 kilogram Vishal Laddu will be the special attraction of the event. After conclusion of 4-day religious function a Vishal Bhandara shall be held on April 1 at 12 noon onwards", they added.
The committee appealed the people of the State from different walks of life to participate in large numbers to seek blessings of Lord Hanuman Ji.
The Committee also urged the local administration to provide necessary logistics like security, cleanliness, drinking water and uninterrupted power supply.
