| JKIM stages demos against Govt, RDD and Panchayat Raj | | | Early Times Report
poonch, Mar 27: Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement (JKIM) today held a protest at Prade ground Park Poonch against Rural Development Department under the supervision of of Javid Iqbal Reshi, the chairman of the movement.
Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, the vice president, Saheem Jaffar treasure, Nassar Bukhari the organizers , Ajaz Katarya, the Azad Chouhan, Saleem Khari, Er. Ajaz and other were present. They raised slogans against RDD and Panchayat Raj and Jammu and Kashmir government for ignoring the poor masses.
The demonstrators said, unfortunately the RDD has ma de it business of collectiong GST bills for MGNREGA materials as the materials were not available in very store of Panchayats.
For obtaining GST bills 24-28% Paid to the shopkeeper and 30% comissions for the department.
After paying a such huge amount the poor public suffer alot. They further said that the general public is suffering a lot as Political interferance in the works of 13-14 FCs as it the the schemes controlled by Panchayats but due the the involvements of politic it become a great problems for poorer masses and deserving people.
On SBM issue rhe movement allegedly said, the said scheme is totally become the panchyte hoodlums as the desrevning people totally neglected under this schemes and blue eyed and political influencials are selected in the lists. They further demanded for early sanction of liability IAY 2015 and demanded for neat and fresh PMAY list. If government failed to fulfill these genuine demands of the public, JKIM along with people will hit the roads, they warned. Later a delegation under the supervision of Reshi called on DDC Poonch Tariq Ahmed Zargar, who assured to fulfill the demands at priority. |
