| EWJAC demands creation of AO post in all departments | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 5: A Joint meeting of the representatives of J&K Government Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (R ) was held at Jammu under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State President of the Association and demanded the establishment of one post of Administrative Officer in all the offices of Head of the Departments and Divisional Offices to do justice with the Section Officers outside the Civil Secretariat as there are minimum avenues of promotion of Section Officers outside the Civil Secretariat. They also appealed to the government to implement the landmark judgment of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015, M.P. No. 01/2015 in letter and Spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest. Babu Hussain Malik described the present coalition government as anti Clerical Cadre and also urged upon the Chief Minister and Finance Minister to remove the Pay Anomaly of Clerical before implementation of 7th Pay Commission and issue separate order as were issued when anomalies of other cadres were removed. All the members stressed upon the State Government to implement the SRO-520 at an earliest so that the Daily Wagers/Casual Labourers/Contractual labourers can have a sigh of relief after serving in the different departments for decades. Similarly, the decision of the Writ Petition SWP No. 1257/2002 in case of Home Guards should also be implemented at an earliest. Moreover other allowances as applicable to other regular employees should also be given to them. |
