Mahila Panthers attempt to gherao BJP Ministers
4/5/2018 11:12:24 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 5: Mahila Panthers activists today tried to gherao the Minister Abdul Haq Khan, MoS Priya Sethi and local MLA Kuldeep Raj at RK Resort at Jatwal today.
The activists while showing 'black flags' to the Ministers, demanded transfer of the child homicide case to CBI for impartial investigation so that the actual offenders of the brutal crime were apprehended, punished and the innocent people would be liberated from Police atrocities and harassment. Raising slogans against BJP Ministers, they closed the main gate of the R.K Resort and squatted on the lawns of the Resort.
Sensing trouble and gauging the fury of the protestors, Abdul Haq Khan took the escape route and fled from the spot. Likewise, Priya Sethi and Kuldeep Raj fled from back door. Manju Singh said that instead of listening to the demand of the people of Hiranagar seeking transfer of the Rasana murder case to the CBI, the Ministers and the local MLA boarded their vehicles and ran away like scared rats.
"This is shameful. The so called representatives have no guts to face the genuine protestors who had been sitting on 'fast unto death'. It has established the fact that the Ministers of BJP and PDP had no guts to face truth, were only enjoying the power joyride and were least bothered about the miserable plight of their own people", Manju regretted.
