Lower Court orders for reopening of case of alleged harassment by Director Health Kashmir

srinagar, Apr 7: The lower court today heard the case of a complainant (staff nurse) and ordered for reopening the case following which the 2nd Additional Judge, District and Sessions Judge Srinagar put up the next hearing on April 12.
In the complaint the petitioner has alleged harassment by the officials of health department, after which she filed a petition in the court of law. The petition has been filed by Firdousa Akhter W/ Dr. Akhter Hussain R/o. Mawra Pahalgam against Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Nazir Shahdad CMO Anantnag, Dr. Arshid Tak, BMO Sallar, presently posted as CMO officer, Anantnag, Dr. Ashraf in-charge Medical Superintendent, Seer Anantnag, and Station House Officer, Police Station, Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar.
The 2nd Additional Judge, District and Session Judge Srinagar, Tahir Khurshid Rana has taken cognizance of the case against the order dated 29-06-2016 passed by the court of Forest Magistrate, Srinagar in case titled as state through Mst. Firdousa Vs Director Health Services Kashmir and others.
According to judgment, the conspectus of the case is that the petitioner was aggrieved of the unbecoming conduct of the respondents 1 to 4. She lodged the report at police station Shaheed Gunj on 05-06-2014, on the day of occurrence itself when respondent no 1 made some alleged immoral attempts on her.
The lower court directed that record of the trial court in the case be sent back by the registry to the said court forthwith along with the copy of order.
